Simon G and the American Dream

The Simon G legacy began with the founder, Simon Ghanimian, who arrived in America and built his empire from the ground up with just a few hundred dollars and years of practice working in the diamond district. Ghanimian got his start as a diamond setter as a way to earn enough money to go to college to become an engineer. He soon realized how satisfying it was to create his own jewelry designs.

His perseverance led him to sell his designs door to door and eventually reach his new home, Southern California. Today, Simon G’s designs are sold all over the world in over 900 stores in North America alone. Jewelry-making continues to run in the Ghanimian blood. Two of Simon’s three sons continue the legacy of this luxury jewelry boutique brand.



Simon G’s Signature Details

Simon G’s impeccable process begins with an inspired design from the mind of Ghanimian himself. As the design becomes a fully-fleshed form, the jewelry piece goes through 10 quality-control stations. In-house metal alloys are used for the ultimate durability. Artisans painstakingly apply beadwork, engraving, and filigree, as well as an all-around polish to keep the piece brilliant throughout.

Their designs truly stand out when you look at the prong work applied to all diamond settings. Unlike most jewelers that only use two prongs to support the precious gemstone, Simon G uses four prongs to protect the stones and prevent them from falling out. Each jewelry piece also comes with a diamond with GH or higher color and SI or higher clarity.
